Why Suzuki beats all other car brands for consumer satisfaction
In 2018, Canstar surveyed 1,022 Kiwi motorists and when it came to customer satisfaction one car maker clearly outshone the rest: Suzuki.
In fact, the popular Japanese brand won the award for most satisfied customers for the fourth time in five years and the second year in a row.
Why do Suzuki drivers love their cars so much?
The reason why the Suzuki Swift keeps winning
Suzuki has the most satisfied customers in the country because of its excellent service as well as its high quality, reliable and value for money cars.
In a Canstar survey, Suzuki won the top spot for driving experience, reliability, value for money and after sale service with a five star rating for each. The brand was also rated a respectable four stars for point-of-sale service. Suzuki beat out premium brands like BMW and Audi, as well as some of the biggest brands in the world like Toyota and Hyundai to claim the top spot in five out of six categories.
The fact that Suzuki has won this award for four out of the last five years show the car maker is consistently creating happy, loyal customers.
Understandably, the Japanese company is happy with the results:
“We are clearly pleased for Suzuki to be the only manufacturer to rate so consistently across all six categories,” said Fiona Bridgford, Marketing Manager for Suzuki New Zealand. “It is a wonderful endorsement from our customers and our thanks goes out to them and our supportive dealer network.”
Choosing a Suzuki
Part of the reason why Suzuki performs so well is because of its diverse range of vehicles. New Zealand’s favourite is the Suzuki Swift, a small yet spacious and incredibly fuel efficient car that has been rated as New Zealand’s most reliable. In 2018, the Suzuki Swift Sport even won the AA car of the year award.
If you’re looking to get off road, the new Suzuki Jimny is your best bet. This capable mini-SUV has been nominated for the prestigious World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year awards and is a favourite of Nicholson’s ambassador and multi-sport champion Sam Clark. For the family, the larger Suzuki Vitara or S-Cross SUVs may be a better option, both of which offer class-leading value.
If you’re after value for money, reliability, great service and a fun driving experience, it’s hard to go past a Suzuki. Get behind the wheel of one soon and drop into your nearest Nicholson Auto dealership for a test drive.
