Job Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Automotive Technician in our multi-franchise service department in Whakatane. This is a busy role that will require the ability to think on your feet while delivering an exceptional standard of work. Ongoing franchise training and EV training is available; we are future-focused and committed to ongoing learning & development for our teams.

About the role:

You will be an integral member of this high-performance team, carrying out mechanical repairs and servicing as well as diagnostic work on a wide range of vehicles. Having a WOF ticket or the readiness to become WOF qualified, would be advantageous. This is a full-time permanent position, of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday only, as our service department is not open on the weekends.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Have NCEA level 1 Maths and English
• Have a can-do attitude and enjoy being part of a team
• Be mechanically minded and crazy about cars
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have completed a pre-trade qualification
• Be dedicated to maintaining a tidy, healthy and safe work environment
• Hold a clean NZ drivers’ licence
